BeeHunt Quality Assurance

Quality Without Compromise

In an industry plagued by adulteration — an EU report found 46% of imported honey samples were adulterated — BeeHunt's quality system is your guarantee of authenticity.

BeeHunt was built to be the antidote to the global honey trust crisis.

Our Six-Stage Quality System

Every batch of BeeHunt honey passes through six documented quality checkpoints before it reaches your warehouse. Here is how we guarantee what we promise.

Stage 01 - Apiary Management

01 — Apiary Management

All partner apiaries follow BeeHunt's strict husbandry protocol. Beekeeper training, a zero-antibiotics policy, and continuous pesticide exposure monitoring are enforced before any honey enters our supply chain.

02 — Raw Honey Reception Testing

Every incoming batch is sampled and tested before acceptance. Non-conforming lots are rejected outright — we do not blend down or rework sub-standard honey.

03 — Low-Temperature Processing

Honey is processed at temperatures that preserve natural enzymes, bioactives, and flavour integrity. Minimal processing is a non-negotiable quality commitment at BeeHunt.

04 — In-House Lab Testing

Each processed batch undergoes a full physicochemical panel in our in-house laboratory: moisture, HMF, diastase activity, conductivity, pH, colour, sugar profile, and sensory evaluation.

05 — Third-Party Verification

Independent verification by internationally accredited labs — SGS, Intertek, and QSI — confirms our in-house results and satisfies the strictest import market requirements.

06 — Pre-Shipment Certificate of Analysis

A complete, batch-specific Certificate of Analysis accompanies every shipment. Buyers receive full documentation before goods leave our facility.

This six-stage system is not an audit exercise — it is our operating standard. Every batch, every time.

Certifications & Standards

Testing Capabilities

BeeHunt tests at two levels: an in-house physicochemical panel on every single batch, and independent third-party verification for export compliance and advanced authenticity screening.

In-House Laboratory — Every Batch

  • Moisture content
  • HMF (Hydroxymethylfurfural)
  • Diastase activity
  • Electrical conductivity
  • pH
  • Colour (Pfund scale)
  • Sugar profile (fructose, glucose, sucrose ratios)
  • Sensory evaluation (aroma, taste, texture, appearance)

Third-Party Labs: SGS · Intertek · QSI

  • NMR honey fingerprinting (geographic origin authentication)
  • IRMS C4 sugar analysis (adulteration detection via isotope ratio)
  • Pesticide multi-residue screening (300+ compounds)
  • Antibiotic residue screening
  • Heavy metals analysis (Pb, Cd, Hg, As)
  • Pollen analysis (botanical origin verification)

Third-party test reports are available to verified buyers upon request.

From Hive to Harbor — Complete Traceability

Every batch of BeeHunt honey carries a complete, documented traceability record. From the GPS-tagged apiary where bees forage to the container that loads onto your freight forwarder's truck — we can account for every step.

Node 01 - GPS-Tagged Apiary

01 — GPS-Tagged Apiary

Every partner apiary is registered with GPS coordinates. We know exactly where your honey was made.

02 — Beekeeper Identity

Each harvest is linked to a named, trained, and audited beekeeper partner. No anonymous sourcing.

03 — Harvest Date & Floral Source

Harvest date and dominant floral source are recorded at the hive — giving buyers the seasonal and botanical provenance data their labels require.

04 — Batch Lab Results

In-house physicochemical testing results are permanently linked to the batch record. Third-party verification reports are appended for export shipments.

05 — Processing Batch Reference

The processing batch number connects raw honey intake to the finished product in the drum or jar — creating an unbroken audit trail through our facility.

06 — Shipment Tracking

Export documentation, CoA, phytosanitary certificate, and bill of lading are all linked to the batch record and provided to the buyer before departure.
